I think this video speaks for itself. I will add that “brief nudity” is an understatement in this episode’s case, and (as this shows actual circumcisions being performed on babies) this is not for the faint of heart. That’s all I’m gonna say about that.

I’ve been a fan of Penn and Teller for a long time, and while I don’t agree with everything they say on Bullshit, I love watching it. If nothing else, it fuels interesting and intense debate between me and my husband (all in good fun).
Watching this episode made me feel a little bit guilty about having circumcised my son.

Thanks for posting that link. I just get so upset about circumcision. Obviously my husband, being Swedish, isn’t circumcised and we would never do that to our child. I just can’t understand why people would do something so unnecessary and harmful to their child without researching it–so many do it “just because.” I know many don’t agree with me, but I think it’s mutilation and very barbaric.

A great comical approach that also had me in tears. (maybe some people will actually watch and pay attention to the information). All I wanted to do was “squeeze” m y baby and thank goodness I did not hurt him like that. UGH that really irked me to hear that doctor say that circumcision is an art!!??
Thanks for the link Amy, it was very hard to watch some bits but I honestly think it is a great approach to raise awareness!
