NaBloPoMo – Day 2

olympus evolt

A photo I took of my Halloween zebra (Julian) and lion (Ava) is the “Neighbors: Featured Photo” on the Denver Post website today, Nov. 2. :) It’s on the right side of the page, about half-way down. I’m pretty excited about it if I do say so myself. :) (You can also click here to go directly to the picture.)

This happened as a result of my discovery of a cool new blog for Colorado mamas called Mile High Mamas. I submitted some photos of the kids to a gallery there and, low and behold, one was selected to be featured on the Post. :) By the way, if you are a CO blogging mama and would like to get your site in the blogroll at Mile High Mamas, head on over there and shoot them an email.

That’s awesome. We have something similar in Cincinnati called Cincy Moms. It’s great because sometimes the photos/captions you publish to their site get put in the print edition. You never know… a few days from now you could be seeing your photos on your door step!!

That is a great picture and congrats on the Denver Post feature! That took me back in time as I lived in Denver as a child and I still have an affinity for the city. I have friends in the area, it’s just hard to get back there to visit. But it’s a warm fuzzy.

Anyway, the kiddos look adorable, so I can see why they chose your photo.
