I am amazed at the low cost of humanitarian aid. I always assumed it was very expensive. Realistically speaking, I think that a president would only do it if he (she?) thought it would benefit them. It’s how things work in politics, and in life. You would think that wiping out malaria is something that any politician would be happy to have under his belt.
