I bet I’ve spent (all told) years of my life playing with assorted species of caterpillars. The woolly bears were especially fun. Honestly, they tended to scare me but I couldn’t ignore them so into a glass they’d go for a few days while I copiously overfed them in an effort to get them to turn into butterflies like in that Sesame Street (or Mr. Rogers?) short bit about crayons? Where they show the butterflies?… Yeah. :)
Very cool! My dd would just scream hysterically if it was on her. She wants to see them and learn about things, but does not want to touch! Enjoy your day!

My little guy would try to eat them . . . he eats everything.
