Here are a few more pictures from our vacation to Mackinac Island. There were some breathtaking views and gorgeous flowers on the island. I only wish I would’ve had more time to take pictures of them all.

I like the one with the bridge in the distance. The flower shot is lovely no doubt about it, but I like the perspective and the premonition of a weather front moving in behind the bridges. Nice shot. :)

All great shots, but I’m particularly drawn to the lighthouse. The blues in both the water and the sky are incredible.
We used to vacation in Michigan summers when I was a kid – I loved Mackinac Island! I do remember all the flowers. But my favorite part was the horse-drawn carriages. I took photos of every horse we rode behind. After we disembarked – the photos weren’t of their behinds! ;)

I like the bridge shot! When I lived out there, I drove an itty bitty car, and when I went up to the UP, people always tried to scare me, saying I would blow off the bridge.
