A bright light, boat, and beautiful flowers

Here are a few more pictures from our vacation to Mackinac Island. There were some breathtaking views and gorgeous flowers on the island. I only wish I would’ve had more time to take pictures of them all.

If you missed the other vacation pictures I posted last week, you can see them here.

  1. I have always wanted to go there…now I want to go even more!

  2. Beautiful. I actually like the one with the lighthouse best. Wow.

  3. Those are all so lovely! But I think I’d have to chose the b&w as my favorite.

  4. Thanks for sharing your photos!

I have given you an award! Visit my blog and check it out you brilliant blogger you!

  5. I like the one with the bridge in the distance. The flower shot is lovely no doubt about it, but I like the perspective and the premonition of a weather front moving in behind the bridges. Nice shot. :)

  6. Hmmm. they are all pretty fab, but I’m leaning towards the b&w :)

  7. I like all of them, but there is something about the lighthouse one. I think I like it the best.

  8. All great shots, but I’m particularly drawn to the lighthouse. The blues in both the water and the sky are incredible.

We used to vacation in Michigan summers when I was a kid – I loved Mackinac Island! I do remember all the flowers. But my favorite part was the horse-drawn carriages. I took photos of every horse we rode behind. After we disembarked – the photos weren’t of their behinds! ;)

  9. My favorite one is the bridge in the background. The length of the bridge is amazing in that picture. Great shots all around.

  10. I like the bridge shot! When I lived out there, I drove an itty bitty car, and when I went up to the UP, people always tried to scare me, saying I would blow off the bridge.

  11. oh, i love Mackinaw! it has been a long time since we were there, but your photos take me right back there! so beautiful.

  12. Although I like the first one quite a bit, I have to agree with you on the last one. Very nice.
