I strongly suggest that you and any of your readers who do not belong already look into joining a CSA.  You can just google it and you will find CSAs in your are.  Now is the time to get on the waiting lists because at least where we live, they fill up fast.

We pay $450/spring/summer/fall season and $125/winter season and get sooooo much fresh organic food!  It is great and I freeze/preserve a lot of it for the colder months.  Our farm also sells organic meat for those interested.
