Shaklee Basic H2 giveaway

Shaklee Basic H2 giveaway

A year and a half ago, I did a review of Shaklee’s Basic H2 cleaner. I liked the product when I first tested it then and I continue to like (and use) the product now. Here’s what I had to say:

I really like the Basic H2 Cleaner. It worked well both in my bathrooms and kitchen, and even helped me get a handle on my shamefully dirty well-used oven. The cleaner is unscented, which is nice for people who don’t do well with scented cleaners, and is, of course, nontoxic and biodegradable.

The fact that this little 16 oz. bottle can make 48 gallons of all-purpose cleaner (when you add your own water) is a big selling point for me, and it only costs $12.15.

Some Basic H2 stats:
  • organic, nontoxic, super-concentrated, natural, no phosphates  (cheaper than vinegar and water mixtures)
  • over 1000 uses (counters, countertops (sealed granite and marble, too), windows, mirrors, appliances (great for stainless steel), sealed woodwork, barbecue grill, oil on driveway…)
  • Basic H2 can be mixed up into three formulations (window cleaner (less than 1cent/16 oz. bottle), all-purpose cleaner (3cents/16 oz. bottle), degreaser (17cents/16 oz. bottle)
  • if you mix the entire bottle up as a window cleaner, it is the equivalent of 5,824 26 oz. bottles of Windex
  • no-rinse, no-residue, streak-free formula

Since I’m such a big fan of Shaklee and thanks to Shaklee distributor Becky Rapinchuk (Clean Mama), three of you are going to receive a sample bottle of Basic H2 cleaner and a spray bottle!

Win It!

  7. I would like to try the disinfecting wipes. I keep a thing of Clorox wipes on the back of my toilet for after spraying out diapers in case an poop water splashes up on the toilet. It would be nice to have another option!

  8. There are a couple things I won’t mind trying, the laundry detergent and the dish washer soap.

  9. Yes, I would also love to try the Get Clean Germ Off Disinfecting Wipes – with a new baby coming (ANY DAY) I would really like to be able to use disinfecting wipes that I trust. I stopped using the Clorox I was using before for fear of the ingredients the baby might be exposed to.

  10. I would like to try the liquid Fresh Laundry Concentrate.

  11. I would love to try the Fresh Laundry Concentrate (liquid). I have heard great things!

  15. Great products. I’m not a Tweeter, so I’ll decline, but if you choose to pick me as a winner, I’d ask that you send it (or drop off) at your local soup kitchen, shelter, or food shelf. They could use such a great product, it would save on the shipping, keep our footprint down, and serve lots of people.

    Thanks. Great review!

  16. i’d try their mascara. i’ve “greened” a lot of cleaners and personal care stuff, but not really makeup–and i’d like something with fewer chemicals and parabens around my eyes!

  24. I think I would like to try the disinfecting wipes or the laundry concentrate. I have heard of Shaklee but never tried! What a great giveaway!

  25. I want to try the Fresh Laundry Concentrate (Powder). I had never heard of Shaklee and I am so glad that I now have a new resource to go to for my shopping needs. We only have one little natural grocery store in my area. Thanks so much cdg!

  28. I’d like to try the Optiflora prebiotic and probiotic. I’m always wanting to try out new formulations.

This cleaner looks excellent! I can’t believe it’s cheaper than vinegar — that’s my go-to cleaner right now. I mean, I do believe you, lol — I’m just surprised!

  29. I’m not sure your contest is valid in Canada, but if it is, I would most like to try Nature Bright® Laundry Booster & Stain Remover – I’m always looking for effective natural ways to get stains out of my baby’s clothes. Germ Off Disinfecting Wipes have also caught my attention – I’ve become a bit of germ freak with all the H1N1 hype, but can’t bring myself to use Lysol wipes.

  30. I would love to try the Acne Clarifying Complex

  31. I’ve been wanting to try their products, but never got around to it. I’m really interested in the dishwasher detergent as I can’t seem to find a good eco friendly one in the stores.

  32. I’d love to try the Laundry Concentrate!

  33. I’ve never seen anything like the Best Water system! It looks like a great alternative to a Brita pitcher.

  34. I grew up as a shaklee baby. We had ‘tiger milk’ every day for breakfast (and mom had instant protein). We used basic h, d, g and L. We had vita=lea vitamins. Alfalfa tabs. Yup, we had it all. I would like to try the vivix, which they didn’t have in my day!
