Essential Oils

Due to recent FDA-regulations, I can no longer share on my blog what brand of essential oils I love and trust or the many stories of how these oils have benefited my family and friends, BUT I can email that information to you and let you know when I have upcoming essential oils classes (where I teach what essential oils are, how to use them safely and effectively, the benefits of a variety of oils and more) on Facebook. If you’d like to learn more about the certified pure essential oils that my family uses daily or check out one of my free Facebook classes, subscribe to my newsletter below and I will fill you in on all the details.

My Essential Oils Journey

I’ve been using essential oils since the summer of 2013. At first I just dabbled in the oils — trying them out here and there — mostly smelling their yumminess. As time went on, a health issue or concern would arise and I’d wonder, “Is there an oil for that?” I’d consult my trusty Modern Essentials reference book or various websites and discover that “Yes,” in pretty much all cases, “There is an oil for that!” In fact, there’s so much more to essential oils than just aromatherapy (and I teach all about safe and effective uses for essential oils in my Facebook classes)!

The more I turned to my oils, the more I could see their value. Eventually they became a part of my and my family’s (yes, that means my husband too!) daily routine and nowadays we don’t leave home without our favorites.

I currently use or have used oils on myself or someone in my family for anxious feelings, stress, supporting digestion, occasional aches & pains, ear discomfort, head tension, respiratory function, seasonal allergies, sleeplessness, seasonal and environmental threats, mood lifting, focus, insect bites, skin support and more. Truth be told, I kind of love my oils.

I love that essential oils I choose to use (which I will tell you more about if you subscribe to my newsletter) are pure and therapeutic-grade oils — nothing added in and nothing removed — which makes them an exceptional brand I feel confident about using. The testing/rating means that they are free from synthetic ingredients, fillers, pesticides and toxic chemicals. This oil company also sources their oils from indigenous plants around the world, which is very important to me. If you’ve followed my blog at all over the years, you know that I don’t endorse products or companies I don’t believe in.

Some of the oils my family and I use nearly every day include:

  • *Protective Blend – for seasonal & environmental threats, immune support and cleaning
  • *Grounding Blend – for calming emotions and anxious feelings
  • *Calming Blend – for stress reduction
  • *Respiratory Blend – for respiratory support
  • *Digestive Blend – for digestive support
  • Lavender – for calming and mosquito bites
  • *Joyful Blend and *Invigorating Blend – for mood boosting
  • *Soothing Blend – for occasional discomfort
  • Frankincense – for maintaining cellular health and to reduce the signs of aging

*Generic blend names listed.

I’d love to share more with you, and let you know what brand I chose (after lots of research), what oils we use in our family and why. I’m also more than happy to personally address any questions you have either via email or over the phone. Let’s get the conversation started. Join my newsletter below. I look forward to sharing with you.

Disclaimer: An important thing to know about essential oils is not all essential oils are created equally. In fact, most of them are worthless to our health and are often synthetic.
